Generating Dropbear SSH keys

  • To create a new RSA key to store in "/.ssh/id_rsa", you can use the following command:
 dropbearkey -t rsa -f ~/.ssh/id_rsa
  • Save the pbulic key in a file ie "~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub" and then:
 scp ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub host:.ssh/authorized_keys
  • to ssh from the pmp with no password:
