consider setting/modifying/configuring the following
- hostname
- bootscripts and binaries (/etc/init.d and /etc/rc.d)
- other scripts and binaries (/bin, /sbin, /usr/bin, /usr/sbin, /root/scripts, etc)
- ssh/dropbear
- ssh keys
- /etc/inittab
