Notes:

  • If a step doesn't work, try it at least once or twice more.
  • The POSIT server running on bs0 has your earlham.cs.#@gmail.com accounts registered, same password as the initial gmail one.
  1. Clear the data associated with POSITx and then remove the POSITx application from your phone (using Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications)
  2. Download and install your Posit apk on the phone, make sure you are using a client built from the POSITx source tree (0.6 or 0.7.2 beta)
  3. Load Posit
  4. Hit the phone's menu button and select Settings -> Change current server
  5. Change the current server to: http://bs0.cluster.earlham.edu/~posit/positweb/
  6. Click OK. If it doesn't work, try it again.
  7. Exit Posit
  8. Click the phone's menu button and go to Settings -> Accounts & sync -> Add account -> POSITx
  9. For the username enter "earlham.cs.#@gmail.com" (with 1, 2, 3 or 4 as the #) and enter the password (the POSIT server and the gmail account use the same password)
  10. Click OK. If it doesn't work, try again.
  11. Open Posit again and log in. If it doesn't work, try again.
  12. Make sure your project is set to Test1
  13. Click View Finds and choose Menu -> Sync
  14. Open a web browser and go to the bs0 POSIT server and view the finds for the Test1 project to make sure yours are there
  15. You should be good to go!
