Password changes
NIS
NIS password changes maybe done from any machine attached to the domain using the yppasswd command.

Password changes are done from the preferences page.

NIS group membership
- On quark
- Edit /etc/group and add the user to the desired group.
- cd to /var/yp and run make.
- In the ACL images (only if this is a local, non-NIS group!)
- Edit /etc/group and add the user
- You can now either push the new group file out, or wait a week for the reimage.
