159.28.23.26 is a ghost: detectable but not responsive to natural stimuli, haunting us.

That IP address responds to pings but is in other ways not accessible.

Thanks to Eli Ramthun for the ghost metaphor.

Accessing the ip in a web browser from the cluster network shows it to apparently be a firmware management page for a SuperMicro machine with the default password and username working. We don't know specifics of which machine whose firmware we are accessing.
