CS has a shop space in the new building. We call it the shop.
Policies
Access to the shop requires the Shop Badge. Working with the chemicals and soldering irons requires the Shop++ Badge.
In general, exercise common sense when in the shop. Be aware of the space in which you are working and where other people are in that space.
Food and drink are allowed but be conscious of where they are relative to what you are working on.
Safety
Handle tools properly.
Shop++ Safety
Closed-toed shoes are required for working with the chemicals and soldering irons.
Ensure the shop is ventilated if you are handling chemicals or solder.
Wash your hands when you are done with your work.
